RAVE REBELS 2026 — MAD MAX

Rave Rebels is a large-scale two-day indoor rave in Brussels and our second project for the festival together with SILA SVETA Music.

This time, the SILA SVETA team developed the stage design and concept inspired by the post-apocalyptic aesthetics of Mad Max and invited us to create part of the visual content for the show.

Location

At the center of the stage was a structure resembling a V8 engine: a circular LED screen surrounded by angled displays, suspended elements, chains, and a system of screens extending into the depth of the stage and across the ceiling.

This architecture allowed the content to travel through different layers of the setup, move sequentially across individual surfaces, or take over the entire stage as one composition.

For the project, we immersed ourselves in the visual language of Mad Max and built our own library of references and materials: engines, metal, rust, chains, mechanical structures, masks, dolls, and strange artifacts from a post-apocalyptic world.

These elements became the foundation for a series of visual experiments adapted to the stage architecture and screen geometry.

We paid particular attention to the circular screens. Wheels, saws, turbines, eyes, mechanical structures, and other radial forms naturally followed their geometry, connecting the digital content with the physical structure of the stage.

Content

Our production process combined CG, AI, procedural graphics, generative patterns, glitches, and analog distortions. The visual language was intentionally diverse: while developing the content, we listened to the artists’ mixes and adjusted the character, dynamics, and motion of the visuals to different sounds across the festival lineup.

The resulting visual fragments worked as parts of a single post-apocalyptic system — from mechanical objects and industrial textures to more abstract and experimental forms — filling the stage throughout the two days of Rave Rebels.
