MACAN. CG&Motion

Panels, cars and ‘bratva’ (brotherhood) — this is how in three words we describe the main concept of our project, developed and designed specifically for russian rapper MACAN and his concert program. 

For this project we worked on visual accompaniment in the form of screensavers for six tracks from the concert program that MACAN performed in Moscow (VEB Arena) and St. Petersburg (Ice Palace SPb) with creative agencies OOPS and –.618.

Each concert has more than 35,000 spectators, for whom we tried to make a separate cinema show on a 42 x 15 meter screen. We made a CG and motion video with a maximum resolution of 10752p x 3840p, namely 6 screensavers, timing from 1.30 to 2.30 minutes.

The atmosphere of street education, parties, boyhood, provincial districts and racing along the Moscow highways formed the basis of MACAN’s work, so in the working process we were inspired by the plots from his compositions — they are as illustrative and tangible as possible, because they are familiar and recognizable.
