OUTLINE 2025
.
Graphic content for Main stage

In 2025, we once again became part of the Outline Festival visual program — this time working with visual content for the main stage installation created by Sila Sveta studio. The two-level media installation consisted of a central screen and a complex ceiling structure above the dance floor, with LED blocks and volumetric screens scattered at different angles and hanging down.

We created images using our own visual language of digital pirates in the spirit of the installation that not only reinterprets the space itself, but also destroys the ideas of stability, logic, and order, following the metaphor of a fracture line. From digital hyperreality to distorted analog artifacts, from generative structures to glitch chaos. We ended up with a multi-layered canvas that included CG graphics, AI-assisted fragments, analog glitches, and procedural generation.

Legend

The concept behind the installation “Line of Rupture” (by Sila Sveta) is a transition point where the boundary between the digital and the real is dissolved. Digital reality no longer copies physical reality—it bursts into it, distorts it, dissolves it, and creates new worlds.

Location

The design of the installation by Sila Sveta is its key feature. Instead of simply hanging the elements, they were designed to appear as if they were actively crumbling in the air. The hanging screen blocks are scattered at different angles, creating a fragmented architecture where light breaks through the cracks in the broken screen blocks. Volumetric shapes, algorithms, and data streams are emerging from the void.

It was important for us that the graphics not only fit the aesthetics of the rave, but also fit into these gaps, playing with the form and concept of the installation. We created visuals that fit neatly into the screen modules, creating the effect of falling elements.

Content

Digital codes, data errors, abstraction, natural motives, light spots created by a combination of tools.

We created the mood of a rupture through the prism of digital pirates. A deformed grid or distorted wave passing through a pixel texture similar to the structure of the CRT screen of an old TV or monitor. Similar to a digital glitch, where horizontal lines seem to compress, pulsate, or “break” when moving. Fragments of a digital map or network assembled from text and symbols. Digital roots that have sprouted from the ceiling and tear open the space above. The structure of the scene breaks gravity and creates distortions in space.

In the visual scenes, we worked with the image of a fracture. The screen would crack and shatter into glitches, then become overgrown with digital plants — as if nature were breaking through its surface. Eyes appeared, watching the rave, spiked frames and structures disrupting order — from clean graphics to the chaos of visual noise.
