SYNERGY SHOW. Motion graphics

SYNERGY is a loud and vibrant performance that brought all participants of the EVGENIYA CUP 2024 together as one. As part of the SYNERGY project, we developed motion graphics to accompany the performances of the show’s participants.

Sixteen acts, 55 minutes of graphics, 6,000 spectators, and an incredible exchange of energy: each individual performance represented a different type of energy, and their symbiosis in the final act united the separate stories into a complete narrative.

With motion graphics, which were as much a part of the show as the gymnasts themselves, the audience was able to feel the visualized energy of home, love, space, and many others.

2D, 3D, and generative graphics for each number were developed based on gymnastic dances, during numerous preliminary rehearsals. Generative graphics were created using video capture and music tracks. In this way, we were able to incorporate motion into each individual performance and make the performance and sound on stage and the images on the screens exist as a single organism…
